About the Role

Build and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power our clients' applications. You'll work with modern cloud technologies and automation tools to ensure reliable, scalable systems.

Compensation

R550,000 - R800,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Automate deployment and scaling processes
Monitor system performance and reliability
Implement security best practices
Troubleshoot production issues
Collaborate with development teams on infrastructure needs
Document infrastructure and processes

Requirements

3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar role
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Understanding of networking and security principles
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Knowledge of configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Experience with service mesh technologies
Familiarity with GitOps practices
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with database administration
