About the Role
Help create intuitive and engaging user experiences for web and mobile applications across various industries. You'll work closely with clients and development teams to design beautiful, functional interfaces.
Compensation
R450,000 - R650,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design implementation
- Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders
- Iterate designs based on feedback and testing results
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design process and outcomes
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Understanding of user-centered design principles
- Experience with user research and testing methodologies
- Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design
- Excellent visual design skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
Nice to Have
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience with motion design and prototyping tools
- Understanding of front-end development constraints
- Experience designing for diverse user groups
